Bol on Brac Island

Bol is like something from a movie set, I couldn’t imagine a cuter little coastal town if I tried. With cute beach side markets, open air bars, windsurfing & kite surfing schools, limestone buildings(Brac is famous for its limestone), a perfect little boat port, crystal clear water, Bol is also home to Zlatni Rat beach,Continue reading “Bol on Brac Island”

Krka Waterfalls of Croatia

Krka National Park. Nature at its best. If your visiting Croatia this should definitely be on your bucket list. I’ve  been there twice now, once in 2016 and then again this year. Visiting Krka is easy from Split via bus, arranged tours or car rental if you have some friends to share the ride with.Continue reading “Krka Waterfalls of Croatia”

Hiking the highest point in the Adriatic – Vidova Gora, Brac Island

“Life is short, climb that god damn mountain.” Once I found out that the highest point in the Adriatic Islands was just a quick ferry ride away from me, I had to hop on over there and hike it for myself. The Vidova Gora lookout is on Brac Island, accessible right from Bol, the mostContinue reading “Hiking the highest point in the Adriatic – Vidova Gora, Brac Island”

Two weeks today. “The most beautiful in the world is, of course, the world itself.”

… until I leave once again. The countdown is on. Although, I’m always leaving it seems, it’s a good feeling. I’ve got a one-way ticket to Europe with very little planned and an open mind. I’ve got a backpack full of bikinis, summer clothes and my photography tools all ready to go for a euroContinue reading “Two weeks today. “The most beautiful in the world is, of course, the world itself.””

In the Rainforest

One of my favorite stops on the Loka east coast tour. Swimming under waterfalls. Star gazing. Camping. Drinking around a campfire. Bonding. Laughing. Exploring. Dreaming. No WiFi. Just you, the rainforest and good company. It really doesn’t get much better than this. More information on the Tully Rainforest Experience can be found here .

I want to learn how to sail!

G’day! It’s been a while since I’ve posted, I’m the first to admit I’m not a great blogger. I’ve never been into travel journals but thought this would be be something different and more my thing. Don’t get me wrong, it for sure is! I’m just a bit slow and un-motivated to get writing. IContinue reading “I want to learn how to sail!”
